The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) เป็นสถาบันการศึกษาและฝึกอบรมสายอาชีพชั้นแนวหน้าของรัฐบาล ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในเขตปกครองตนเอง “Australian Capital Territory (ACT)” CIT ตั้งอยู่ที่นครแคนเบอร์ร่า เมืองหลวง ของประเทศออสเตรเลีย หลักสูตรการเรียนและฝึกอบรมอาชีพของ CIT ได้รับการออกแบบให้ผู้เรียนได้มีความรู้และฝึกทักษะ ทางด้านวิชาชีพ เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของตลาดแรงงาน ทั้งนี้ CIT ได้รับการยอมรับทั้งในระดับ ประเทศและ ระดับนานาชาติด้านความเป็นเลิศของการเรียนการสอน การผสมผสานวิทยาการ สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่มี คุณภาพ และทำ งานร่วมกับธุรกิจและอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆอย่างใกล้ชิด เพื่อให้มั่นใจได้ว่าทักษะและความรู้ที่ได้รับจากการศึกษา สามารถนำไปใช้ ในการทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆได้อย่างแท้จริง

CIT มีหลักสูตรให้เลือกเรียนมากกว่า 400 หลักสูตร ตั้งแต่ระดับประกาศนียบัตร (Certificate) ประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้น สูง (Diploma) ปริญญาตรี (Undergraduate) และหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษ CIT เป็นสถาบันการศึกษาที่เป็นผู้นำทางด้าน การฝึกอบรมและอาชีพ ซึ่งบัณฑิต กว่า 89% ได้รับการว่าจ้างงานหรือศึกษาต่อในระดับสูงภายใน 6 เดือนแรกหลังจากสำเร็จ การศึกษา

ได้รับการจัดอันดับชั้นเลิศ

จำนวนนักศึกษา: ปี 2008 มีผู้ลงทะเบียนเรียนจำนวน 19,000 คน ระดับอายุตั้งแต่ 16 ปีจนถึง 70 ปี โดยมีนักศึกษาต่างชาติจากกว่า 50 ประเทศทั่วโลก
ที่พัก: CIT มีหอพักนักศึกษา 3 แห่งตั้งอยู่ที่ Reid, Bruce และ Macquarie นอกจากนี้

ทุกปี CIT เปิดภาคการศึกษา 2 ครั้ง ได้แก่ ภาคการศึกษาที่ 1 เดือนกุมภาพันธ์ และภาคการศึกษาที่ 2 เดือนกรกฎาคม
 
   
 
ผู้สมัครจะต้องสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 และต้องมีผลคะแนนรวมภาษาอังกฤษ (IELTS)
ตั้งแต่ 5.0 – 6.5 กรณีที่ผู้สมัครมีคุณสมบัติอื่นๆ ทางสถาบันจะพิจารณาเป็นรายกรณี

 
 
   
 
CIT สร้างเส้นทางแห่งความสำเร็จแก่นักศึกษาเพื่อให้สามารถศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาในมหาวิทยาลัย โดยมี
ข้อตกลงร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัย 14 แห่งในการโอนหน่วยกิตของนักศึกษาเพื่อเข้าศึกษาต่อในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย
รวมถึง University of Canberra, Australian National University, Charles Sturt University,
